Lone Star Hiking Trail Hikes
We hike on the Lone Star Hiking Trail every month. Each quest takes 16 to 18 months to cover the main trail and the loops. Our routings take advantage of other paths such as multi-use trails, forest service roads and right-of-ways.
HATs is on our fourth quest to hike the entirety of the longest hiking trail in Texas. The map is chronicling the 2016 to 2018 quest. While delayed by Hurricane Harvey, we are on still on track.
Our leader Shenaz (aka Black Bear) has taken over the organizer duties for our fourth quest and hopefully will lead us many more times.
Below are hikes from previous years.
